About disposable paper cup
It is reported that there are three main types of disposable paper cup on the market at present. One is made of white cardboard, which is mainly used to hold dry things and cannot hold water or oil. Second, waxed paper cup are more waterproof and thicker, but the wax, which itself contains cancer-causing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, melts once the water in the cup rises above 40 degrees. The third is now widely used plastic paper cup, which has a layer of paper outside and a layer of film inside. At present, most of the film used for making paper cups on the market are polyethylene (PE) plastic film, which has high heat-resistance, up to 80℃ ,but no capacity of degrading naturally

About PLA coated paper
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a new biodegradable material, suitable for extrusion, injection molding, film drawing, spinning and other processing methods. It is easy to process, so it can be used in food packaging, fast food lunch boxes, non-woven fabrics, industrial and civil fabrics, agricultural fabrics, 3D printing and other fields. 1. Eco-friendly material: Polylactic acid (PLA) coated paper replaces polyethylene (PE) coated paper. PLA is a biodegradable material made by fermenting crops such as corn. Poly (lactic acid) is an ideal green polymer material because it is produced without pollution and can be biodegraded and recycled in nature. This material conforms to the global, national plastic limit, plastic ban environmental protection policy.
2. Safe material: Polylactic acid has good safety property. Polyethylene (PE) coated paper may be oxidized into carbonyl compounds during the process of melting or applying to the cup paper, and the cup may emit peculiar smell when poured into hot water. While Polylactic acid coated paper has no peculiar smell, and has certain antibacterial and anti-ultraviolet properties.
3. Resistance to high and low temperatures: Polylactic acid (PLA) coated paper has good resistance to high and low temperatures, so it will not leak or deform when made into cold and hot liquid containers. It has good strength and heat-sealing property, meeting the use requirements of coated paper cups.
4. Uniform coating layer: The polylactic acid coating layer is uniform, flat and smooth, and has a high-quality feel. It has excellent quality such as strong adhesion and glossiness.
